New Berlin Boy Scout Troop 61 is a new Boy Scout troop with a rich history.

St. Andrews chartered the original Boy Scout Troop 61 in 1936.

From 2011-2018, Troop 61 did not charter with the BSA's Baden-Powell Council.

On September 10, 2018 the new New Berlin Boy Scout Troop 61 began with 5 scouts and 5 adults under the leadership of Scoutmaster Kevin "Doc" Phillips.

New Berlin Boy Scout Troop 61 will celebrate its 75th Anniversary in 2019 by hosting an awesome camporee May 3-5, running a Soap Box Derby race down Moss Street on June 15th, recognizing all our Cubmasters and Scoutmasters with a wine and cheese reception this summer, developing a Troop 61 historical trail, and concluding with a banquet in September at Longview Farm that highlights our 75 Eagle Scouts in 75 years!!!

New Berlin Boy Scout Troop 61 looks forward to continuing its rich scouting legacy of fun while developing character, citizenship, physical fitness, and leadership.  Click on the "news" link for the ongoing media coverage by the New Berlin Gazette and the Norwich Evening Sun newspapers of New Berlin Troop 61.
